SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES WITH CHILDREN'S INTERNATIONAL SUMMER VILLAGES

The Northwest Ohio Chapter of Children's International Summer Villages, Inc. (CISV) has announced several opportunities for children, adolescents and adults to make new friendships worldwide and to learn about and appreciate different cultures. 

The activities open for summer 2007 include:

Village - USA (Dallas) from July 1-28, and International (Finland) from June 15-July 12.  Participants must be 11 years of age.  Approximate cost is $700 plus transportation. (Adult leaders are also needed with transportation provided.)

Summer Camp - USA (Brandywine, PA) from June 29-July 12.  Participants must be 14 years of age.  Approximate cost is $1,175 plus transportation.

Interchange - Czech Republic (Prague), summer dates to be announced.  Participants ages 13-14.  Approximate cost is $785 plus transportation.

Junior Counselor - USA (Philadelphia), June 25-July 22.  Female, high school age.  Approximate cost is $600 plus transportation.

Seminar Camp - Finland (Helsinki), July 6-July 26.  Male.  Approximate cost is $1,000 plus transportation.

IYM - Canada (Calgary), July 10-July 24.  Male or female, ages 16-18.  Approximate cost is $575 plus $23/day, plus transportation.

Information sessions are scheduled for Sunday, January 28 at 3PM and Monday, February 12 at 7PM at Community First Mortgage Co., 407 W. Main Cross Street, Findlay. (Use back entrance).  Interested individuals can also contact Shelly Maroney, chapter president, at 419-423-2182 or 419-348-3420.
