This month I would like to talk about what typifies a service call from Flag City Computers, LLC and where I have taken the business as it grows.

First of all I offer drop off service for 42.00 an hour and in home service for 47.00 an hour.  The majority of my clients like the in home service because they don't have to unplug all the cords and remember where they go.  Generally speaking most service can be performed in home.  However homes that have dial up internet I would recommend that those computers be dropped off.  The majority of service work is framed around the internet.  Being able to update the antivirus and windows update.  These are just not feasible for a dial up connection.

A major portion of my service work is used removing viruses and spyware.  I carry many of the typical parts that break so service times are kept down.  Typically speaking drop off service has a 1-2 day turn around.

However with the non standard nature of some computers I have to order special parts sometimes.

I am currently in the process of interviewing potential employees so that I can further improve my service.  As I have been doing this by myself since November 2002.  So Happy 5 year anniversary to Flag City Computers, LLC When I first started doing this I read many times a business is a 5 year plan.  Well that is very true.  I am glad I beat the statistics.  I have to acknowledge my father for helping along the way.  Without him my business would not be bearing so much fruit.  I also have to thank God for so richly blessing me with the gifts that allow me to run a business and do it successfully.

Having built my business from the ground up out of nothing and not taking on debt to do it allows me so much freedom to serve my customers.

As I look back it just amazes me how much I have accomplished along the way.  How much I have grown in every area of my life.  Running a business is not an easy thing to do.  It takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice.

I so enjoy writing for Findlay Living as it is a great magazine and it's free!  It reaches out to the community provides valuable information and highlights the business's.  Without your local business's Findlay would not be as great as it is!  So that's my two cents this month.  As always you can email your questions to jason@flagcitycomputers.net

God Bless!
