Technology Today & Tomorrow - March 2008
By Jason Eatherton

Email this article
 Printer friendly page

This month I am going to do things a little bit differently.  I am going to ask the question and I am going to let my readers answer it.

I am going to let you all email me your responses and I will compile them and write next months article based on them.

I want to hear from my readers about what they think of technology.  I want to know how it affects your day to day life.  How does it affect you at work?  How does it affect you at home?  For those of you with smart phones how has it changed the way you do things?  Has your smart phone made you more efficient or less?

Those of you that have jobs like caring mail or working on a factory production line do you listen to an mp3 player to help pass the time?  I just bought myself a new mp3 player and I am amazed at everything it does along with the beautiful screen on it.  I am going to load my mp3 version of the bible on it so I can listen to it while I work out at the gym.

That's not something you could have done before the advent of computers really caught on.  I remember when mp3's first came out I had to look hard to find a program to rip them off a cd with.  Now practically everything does it for you.

So that leaves this months article not really an article but a challenge to my readers to define the article next month.  So go to it and email your answers to me at:  jason@flagcitycomputers.net.  Get those brains in gear and shape what you read.

Use your voice and express your frustration or adoration at technology.  I'll be looking forward to your emails.  Until then:  God bless!
Monthly Contest

This month's question for win lunch with the computer guru is:  What does DVD stand for?  I'll give you a way to get the answer.  Just Google it.  As many of you readers know by now.  My motto is:  It's the information age if you don't know something it's your own fault!

Limited to one winner per month. Winner is only good for one person. Valued up to $12 no alcohol included.  One friend may accompany the luncheon; however they will be on their own tab. To enter for your chance to win: Email your answer to flcontest@flagcitycomptuers.net along with your phone number you can be reached at. And give him a reason why you deserve to be picked. All entries must be in by March 20th 2008.

Congratulations to:  Jodi Miller last month's winner
