Kung-Fu Panda is a surprisingly good game which is based off of the new Kung-Fu Panda movie with Jack Black. As the name suggests, the game focuses on Po, a panda who tries to become a Kung-Fu master after being named the Dragon Warrior. While Po is thrilled about being named the Dragon Warrior, the other Kung-Fu masters aren't so happy about the announcement, especially because Po has no training in Kung-Fu and is a clumsy panda. The story's villain, Tai Lung, also refuses to accept Po as the Dragon Warrior, and breaks out of prison in order to take the Dragon Scroll. Po must train in order to become a Kung-Fu master and stop Tai Lung from attacking his village. Each level mainly consists of different enemies which Po must fight, as well as different obstacles he must get through, be it jumping from lily pad to lily pad, or collecting sacred relics while watching out for bombs which explode as soon as he touches them.

Each level also has coins spread throughout it which can be used after the level is completed in order to buy skills, increase Po's power, or buy new costumes for Po to wear. This system works out pretty well because the coins are easy to collect as long as players don't try to run through levels as fast as possible, and also because it allows players to spend points on moves or stats which they use the most. The best thing about the leveling system is that it allows players to customize Po to fit their playing style. For instance, my favorite move was Po's Panda Quake (a belly flop), which is more or less an attack which will damage all of the enemies around you, so I built it up as fast as I could. The only real problem that I had with this game was that occasionally the camera was pretty tricky and sometimes made jumps hard to complete. However, this did not happen constantly, and as long as a battle was not in progress could be easily handled since players can manually control the camera.

Overall, Kung-Fu Panda is a funny, entertaining platform game which players of all ages, both young and old, will enjoy. After all, Jack Black is a Kung-Fu panda in this game, what's not to love?
