School musical instrument specialists, dealing in instruments from entry level to professional, accessories and full-time service professionals on staff.
Service from play condition to complete overhaul. Beginning instrument rental to discounted professional instruments. Used instruments are generally available. Service dept. open daily 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday though Friday. The brands we carry have the strongest warranty in the industry, and have been proven for durability over the years.
Products/Services
We handle the repair of instruments for 28 school districts in NW Ohio from piccolo to tuba and string bass; Our service dept. is mostly a play condition shop, however, we do also handle the overhaul work that is so necessary for tight budgets.
The beginning instrument program from start to finish is the most economical in the area. The string rental allows you to accumulate credit toward a full size stringed instrument when the time arrives. All instruments used for rental are insured for loss, theft, or damage while in your possession.
With a brass, percussion, orchestral and former music educators on staff, we can answer any question however technical, that you may have. Our extensive list of suppliers allows us the ability to provide the musician with a large variety of accessories for their instrument.
Management Background:
The owner is a graduate of music education from Bowling Green State Univ. with three years teaching experience, six years professional playing experience and 28 years of music retail. The repair dept has a combined thirty years teaching experience, 35 years of technical repair experience and the sales have all been instrumentalists at least through their high school careers.
Exprience:
John was the educational representative for two stores prior to starting Instrument Care Center. As Music ED grad and a professional player, he had a unique perspective into the business that his employers or partners had not had. After nearly 20 years of ICC sales and service in NW Ohio, we still are learning our craft through conventions, seminars and monthly service updates from our manufacturers.
