How does the PetSafe Professional UnderGround Fence work?
Professional Petsafe is a modern training system for containment that utilizes sophisticated electronics to support our Lite-Touch™ Training Method. One of our Professional transmitters usually mounted in the garage creates a signal field around an antenna wire buried in your yard, defining the safe area that you design. Your pet wears a custom-set ProLite® receiver that first warns him if he approaches his boundary, then will correct him if he makes incorrect choices.
How long does it take for the dog to learn his boundaries?
With our revolutionary Lite-Touch™ Training Method, the proper behavior can be shaped within a few short training sessions. Reward based training, along with the technology to apply gentle progressive/rising stimulation facilitate this learning curve. Most dogs understand completely in less than two weeks.
