"I have time on my hands and I need to feel valued and stay busy," said Major. Major was nominated by Jeanne Roeder. Her nomination noted her positive attitude despite being in a disabling car accident at the age of 16. She has been volunteering at Parkview for three years. She lives in Findlay with her dog, "Tex". In addition to recognizing individual adults and youth, the Volunteer Center is now accepting nominations of families who volunteer in the community. To nominate an adult, youth or family for Spotlight Volunteer, please contact Bev Phillips, volunteer services director, at 419-423-1432 or bphillips@uwhancock.org. A nomination form is also available online at http://uwhancock.org.
