Game Zone System: Wii
You point the Wii-mote at the screen and a circle appears, which Nights flies towards. You use the circle to guide her through some rings as you fly through levels, or occasionally fly towards enemies in a boss fight. Why are little kids in this dream world where they can fly through rings anyway though? It's because they're sleeping, and as the talking owl (creatively named Owl) explains, people can enter the Dream Dimension only while they sleep. Evil monsters, most of who look like simple shapes randomly thrown together to make a blob that somewhat resembles a non-threatening monster, are invading this peaceful dream world known as Nightopia. These monsters are called Nightmares and surprisingly enough come from the evil land of Nightmare. Their malicious goal is to overrun Nightopia, which by the way, is populated by bald oompa-loompa looking babies, and turn it into a Nightmare. The Nightmares take over Nightopia by stealing all of the warm fuzzy feelings from those who visit this dream world. In order to stop these evil Nightmares, the little kids team up with Nights in order to take back their warm fuzzy feelings, otherwise known as Ideya. The only part of NIGHTS which isn't absolutely horrible is the environmental graphics, but even they get old after seeing them time and again because the levels tend to loop over and over until you complete a certain task (like retrieving a key from a guard). Unless pointing a circle at the screen and flying through rings in order to find your warm fuzzy feelings actually sounds like fun to you, I can't recommend this game to anyone for any reason what so ever. Stay away from this game, just stay far away. © Copyright 2003-2006 by Findlay Living and DynamiKComm, Inc. |
