The FLY Paper Findlay First Edition participated in Show Choir Nationals March 13-15, 2008. Show Choir Nationals is held on stage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The festival included show choirs from 9 states, and is one of the most competitive national festivals each year. Once again, FFE was very successful, winning the award for Overall Second Runner-Up. The Boingers won the Overall Best Combo Award in both the preliminary round and also in the finals. Kara Haggerty was named the Overall Best Female soloist in both the prelims and finals. The Boingers were awarded Best Instrumental Combo at every competition this season. Petal Soundsations (Mississippi) were the First Runner-Up, and the Sullivan Singers (Illinois) were named Grand Champions. FFE can next be seen at the annual Choral Cabaret.
