The FLY Paper What does it take to interview for and to win a non-existent job? Ask Alannah Abrams, 16, a junior at Liberty-Benton High School who recently applied for, and won, an imaginary sales associate position with Tractor Supply Company. Abrams recently competed in the Ohio FFA state Job Interview competition held at the Tolles Technical Center in Plain City, OH on March 1. Abrams won the high school junior division in both the sub-district and district competitions for her right to compete at the state level. All five division finalists will compete at the Ohio FFA convention to be held in Columbus in May to see who will represent Ohio’s FFA at its national competition to be held in Indianapolis in the fall. Abrams also won the right to represent her FFA district division in the state competition for extemporaneous speaking on agricultural subject matters. The public speaking competition will be held at Ohio State University on Saturday, March 15.
