Salute to Area Servicemen - May 2008

Findlay Living Magazine's Military Salute for May is PFC Zachariah Hall, United States Marine Corps.  

Zachariah, 20, graduated from McComb High School and Millstream School, where he completed advanced studies in Automotive Technology.   While in High School, Hall played football. 

Enlisting in the Marines, Hall followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, who served for 20 years in the USMC. The stories his grandfather told and passed down inspired Zachariah to be a part of the Corps.  He believes that "if you never give up on what you want, anything is possible."

After completing basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina, Hall completed SOI (School of Infantry) training in North Carolina and is currently stationed with the Weapons Company Reserve Unit in Perrysburg.

Hall's future plans include a degree in Diesel Mechanics.  In his spare time, he enjoys working on cars, working out and spending time at the shooting range.
